FAQ

Why do you only offer polyester?

We will eventually offer other materials but polyester is our fabric of choice due to its resilience, stain resistance, UPF protection capabilities, breathability, all the options needed for a serious fishing shirt.  We use sublimation printing which also requires the use of polyester fabric so there are no worries about fading, bleeding or peeling of graphics and logos.

Are the colors on my monitor the exact colors I'll be receiving?

We do our best to match color swatches to the exact colors we offer but they are only representations. Variations may occur due to differing monitor resolution, inks used in printing and material manufacturer.  Screen images are intended as a guide only.

How does sizing work?

Sizing measurements are provided by the garment manufacturer and are incorporated into the item description whenever possible.  Pay close attention to sizing before purchasing.  Our suggestion is to take a favorite shirt you currently own, lay it out flat and take measurements of the bust, length, waist, etc., and compare to those provided in the description.  Even when measurements are comparable, the fit style may differ and will be noted accordingly.  Please contact us with questions.

How do I properly care for my performance shirts?

Proper care procedures optimize the life span of high performance garments. Following these simple instructions will maximize the life of your performance apparel.

  • Do not use dryer sheets, fabric softeners, or bleach

  • Machine wash cold only; Do not dry clean!

  • Tumble dry low

Using fabric softeners on moisture-wicking performance apparel will depreciate its moisture-wicking capabilities over time. We recommend using a minimum amount of laundry products when caring for your garment. Fabric softeners & other laundry products can leave behind residues which clog the pores of these highly technical fibers preventing moisture from escaping to surface area & evaporating. Bleach free & scent free detergents are strongly recommended!  By following these simple guidlines, you can insure that your shirts will keep you dryer and maintain performance longer.
